These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of ZooHouse Fit Club, operated by ZooHouse, LLC (“ZooHouse,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), including the website, the training programs, and the paid Challenges. By creating an account, you agree to these Terms.
1. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to create an account or enter a Challenge. By registering, you confirm that you are 18 or older and that the information you provide is accurate.
2. Your Account
Your real name and email address are kept private and are never shown to other members. Other members only ever see your screen name — on leaderboards, in the Locker Room, and anywhere else your activity appears publicly within the app. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity under your account.
3. Programs & AI-Generated Content
Your training and nutrition program is generated for you based on the answers you give during intake, using artificial intelligence (currently Anthropic’s Claude). It is built specifically around what you tell us, but it is not a substitute for professional medical, nutritional, or fitness advice. Talk to a physician before starting any new exercise or nutrition program, especially if you have an existing health condition, injury, or are pregnant.
4. Health & Physical Activity — Assumption of Risk
Participation in ZooHouse programs and Challenges involves real physical exertion and carries inherent risk of injury. You confirm that you are physically able to participate and that you are doing so voluntarily and at your own risk. ZooHouse is not liable for injuries or health issues that result from participating in a program or Challenge. If something doesn’t feel right, stop and consult a medical professional.
5. Challenges
Each Challenge has its own published rules covering the entry fee, the prize pot, the check-in schedule, and how a winner is determined — read them before you enter. A few things apply across every Challenge:
- The prize pot is built from a portion of every paid entry, plus anything sponsors add. We do not guarantee a prize amount beyond what is actually in the pot.
- Weigh-ins, progress photos, and daily activity are backed by video or photo evidence. We use automated tools to check that evidence against the numbers you submit, and where the evidence and the submitted number genuinely disagree, we correct the submitted number to match the evidence. Deliberately falsified or altered evidence is grounds for disqualification.
- If you win, your prize is paid out via PayPal to the email address on file in your account settings. You are responsible for keeping that email current and for any fees PayPal itself charges.
- Entry fees are nonrefundable once a Challenge has started — see our Refund & Returns Policy for the full rule.
6. Photos, Videos & Your Content
You own the photos, videos, and posts you submit. When you enter a Challenge, you’re asked to separately confirm that you consent to ZooHouse using your results, photos, and stats for marketing and promotional purposes — credited only by your screen name, never your real name. You can decline to enter a Challenge if you don’t want to give that consent; it is not required to use the rest of the app.
7. Community Conduct
The Locker Room and group chat are for supporting each other — celebrating wins, sharing ideas, keeping each other accountable. Harassment, bullying, body-shaming, and sharing another member’s photos, weight, measurements, or personal information outside the app are not allowed and are grounds for removal from a Challenge or account suspension.
8. Account Suspension & Closure
You can close your own account at any time from the site footer. Closing your account signs you out permanently and removes you from active leaderboards, the Locker Room, and challenge chat, but your program history, Challenge entries, and payout records are kept on file. We may also suspend or terminate an account that violates these Terms, submits falsified evidence, or is disruptive to other members.
9. Payments
Purchases (Challenge entries, sponsorships, merchandise, and any program access fees) are processed through our checkout. See our Refund & Returns Policy for what is and isn’t refundable.
10. Third-Party Services
We use trusted third parties to run parts of this app: Anthropic (Claude) to generate your program and evaluate submitted evidence, PayPal to send Challenge payouts, a payment processor to handle checkout, and a hosting provider to keep the site running. These providers only receive what they need to do their job.
11. Intellectual Property
The ZooHouse name, logo, and site design belong to ZooHouse, LLC. You may not copy, resell, or repurpose our programs, branding, or site content without permission.
12. Disclaimer & Limitation of Liability
ZooHouse Fit Club is provided “as is.” We do our best to keep the app accurate and running smoothly, but we don’t guarantee it will be error-free or uninterrupted. To the fullest extent allowed by law, ZooHouse, LLC is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app, including injury from physical activity undertaken as part of a program or Challenge.
13. Governing Law
[TJ to confirm: which state’s law governs these Terms.]
14. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms as the app grows. We’ll update the date at the top of this page when we do. Continuing to use ZooHouse after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
