Privacy Policy

Last updated: September 16, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains what information ZooHouse Fit Club (operated by ZooHouse, LLC) collects, how we use it, and the choices you have. By using the app, you agree to this policy.

1. Information We Collect

  • Account information: your name, email address, and screen name. Your real name and email are private and never shown to other members. Only your screen name is.
  • Intake & health information: age, weight, height, injuries, training experience, and other answers you give during intake, used to build your program.
  • Progress photos, weigh-in videos, and activity screenshots: submitted for your own program checkpoints and for Challenge check-ins.
  • Payment information: handled directly by our payment processor and PayPal. We do not store your full card number.
  • Communications: messages you send us, group feed posts, and challenge chat messages.
  • Basic technical data: standard web server logs and cookies needed to keep you logged in and the site working.

2. How We Use Your Information

  • To build and adjust your personalized training and nutrition program.
  • To score Challenge check-ins and daily activity, including using automated tools to check submitted evidence (photos and video) against the numbers you report, and correcting a number when the evidence clearly disagrees with it.
  • To send you transactional emails: program updates, Challenge results, payout confirmations, and similar account activity.
  • To process Challenge entries, sponsorships, and payouts.
  • For marketing or promotional purposes, but only when you’ve separately and explicitly agreed to this at Challenge entry, and only ever using your screen name, never your real name.

3. Photos, Videos & Progress Data

Your progress photos and check-in evidence are private by default. They are stored outside the public web folder, are never given a guessable public link, and are only ever visible to you and site administrators unless you choose to share something to the group feed. If you post a photo to the Locker Room or group chat, it becomes visible to other members of that specific Challenge, not the public internet.

4. Who We Share Information With

We use trusted service providers to run the app, and we only share what each one needs to do its job:

  • Anthropic (Claude): processes your intake answers and check-in evidence to generate your program and verify submissions.
  • PayPal: processes Challenge prize payouts.
  • Our payment processor: processes checkout for entries, sponsorships, and merchandise.
  • Our hosting provider: hosts the website and stores your data securely.

We do not sell your personal information.

5. Data Retention

We keep your data for as long as your account is active. If you close your own account from the site footer, you’re signed out everywhere immediately and removed from leaderboards, the Locker Room, and challenge chat. Thirty days later, we permanently delete your account and personal data: progress photos, weigh-in videos, intake and health answers, your program, workout and activity logs, and anything you posted. If you’re in a Challenge that’s still running when you close your account, you’re withdrawn from it and your entry fee stays in the prize pot.

We keep two things after deletion: payment, order, and payout records, which we’re required to for financial and tax recordkeeping, and one anonymous statistical record (a rough age range, sex, and program/Challenge outcomes) that can never be linked back to you, used only to understand how the program works across our members in aggregate.

Changed your mind? Email us within the 30 days and we’ll restore your account exactly as it was.

6. Your Rights & Choices

  • You can review and update your account information from your dashboard at any time.
  • You can close your account at any time from the site footer.
  • You can decline marketing consent simply by not entering a Challenge that requests it, and you can ask us to stop using your information for marketing by contacting us.

7. Children’s Privacy

ZooHouse Fit Club is intended for adults 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.

8. Cookies

We use basic cookies to keep you signed in and remember your preferences. We do not use third-party advertising trackers.

9. Data Security

We take reasonable steps to protect your information, including keeping progress photos and videos outside the publicly accessible part of our server and requiring a live authorization check on every request to view one.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy as the app grows. We’ll update the date at the top of this page when we do.
